It was the hottest day of the year so far and as we headed through the gates of Cameron Park and down the hill we found ourselves surrounded by stunning scenery. and the was the Hotel sat on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond – what a great location! We were then greeted by Colin [...]
Amy & Billy have got to be one of the best looking couples we’ve worked with and it was no major surprise to us when we found out we were at a footballers wedding! At times it was hard to concentrate on the job in hand with all the Jager Bombs going off around us. [...]
You probably wouldn’t believe me if I told you that the super club you see on this sequence was actually a marquee in Ruperts back garden – but it’s the truth! Juliet Cowper from RSVP events has clearly worked tirelessly to turn it in to something special and she’s pulled it off as she does [...]
This wedding nearly wasn’t to be after Jane & her mother got stuck in Egypt following the ash cloud scare; what was intended to be a relaxing pre-wedding retreat turned out to be race against the clock and to quote Jasons best man, here are a few stats: 4000 miles, 2 continents, 5 countries, 4 [...]
Lauren called us about a month before her wedding and told us they were getting married at Wrenbury Hall – without a doubt one of our favourite venues in Cheshire!
The day itself was warm, sunny and brimming with emotion. Sometimes we’re blessed with the easiest jobs going because everything through the lens just looks great. [...]
Alex’s dad once asked her if she was ever likely to become Mrs Amey, to which she replied “I will never become Mrs Amey – but I might well become Dr Amey!” So there we have it – congratulations to Dr & Mrs Dr Amey, who got married on 12th December 2009 at the Great [...]
When we met Angela & Jason we quickly realised how important it was to them to have their wedding well-captured, which goes some way to explaining why their photographers, DA Creative, flew all the way from Canada to be at the wedding! We don’t normally stage anything at all but Angela & Jason were keen [...]
Rosie’s mother Jane had spent weeks in the garden getting it just perfect for the wedding reception and fortunately they were blessed with a warm sunny day so everyone was able to enjoy drinks out on the lawn.
The celebrations went on into the early hours and I was lucky enough to catch the band’s second [...]
Emma & Daniel got married at Gorton Monastery, which opened its doors for its first wedding in twenty years. This inevitably drew the attention of the local press, including the Manchester Evening News, and it’s also featured in this year’s County Brides. From the Fireworks to Emma’s spectacular dress change, they had an amazing day.
They [...]
Sometimes you wake up and think: “Today’s going to be a good day”. This was one of those days! The Indian summer we had all hoped for finally arrived and when we first met Laura and Tom it was more like meeting old friends again. They got married at St Mark’s in Dunham Massey and [...]
Aya and Tony got married at Tony’s mum’s house over in Billinge – we hope that the garden has recovered! They chose to have a humanist wedding ceremony, which was sweet, funny and moving, and finished off with some of the most emotional speeches we’ve seen.
Lots of their guests, including Aya’s parents, had flown in [...]
This was one of those weddings where the amount of affection that the guests have for the happy couple is really moving and great to see – it was clear that Maria and Adrian had a lot of good friends supporting them on their special day, and they know how to party too!
Their ceremony took [...]
Daniella & Piers got married at St Philips in Alderley Edge, followed by a reception and breakfast at Daniella’s parents’ house in Wilmslow. It was nice to meet you both and have to admit, Piers, we did think you look a little bit like Richard Branson!
Luan & Adrian got married in St Stevens Church in Congleton and continued their post-nuptials at Sandhole Barn, which is positioned on the edge of a beautiful lake in the Cheshire countryside. Luan organised everything herself (Adrian freely admits he had zero input) – we have to say we think she did a cracking job.
Lucy-Jo & Alan got married in June 2009 at Barthomley Church near Crewe and continued their celebrations at Crewe Hall. The wedding was covered by Ok! magazine and co-ordinated by Liz Taylor of TLC. We’d like to take this opportunity to also thank Victoria Sharpe who played the piano during the wedding reception – she [...]
Hannah & Wes got married in in the beautiful village of Tintinhul near Yeovil in Somerset. They both live and work in Los Angeles – Hannah works for a TV production company and Wes is a pap photographer so it probably felt strange for them to be receiving all of the attention for a change!
Unfortunately we weren’t able to meet Jenny & Craig before the big day – we usually like to do this so we can just leave the couple to enjoy themselves. Having said this, they weren’t bothered – they we so relaxed and friendly that our job was almost too easy, not to mention the great [...]
Claire & Nick got married in a church in Hertfordshire and enjoyed their reception in an amazing 16th century tythe barn (Priory Barn in Little Wymondley). We already knew Claire very well because we had filmed so many of her friends’ weddings but finally we got to meet Nick too – we say this because [...]
Pippa & Tom got married in the beautiful village of Walgrave in Berkshire. They literally had guests from every corner of the globe over to celebrate their special day. Pippa’s parents, Patty & Peter, were incredible hosts and we were made to feel so welcome by everyone there.
Claire & Jon had originally planned to get married last year but in the end had to postpone – we have to say it was well worth waiting for! The ceremony & reception took place at Somerley, a beautiful stately home in the Hampshire countryside.
They were photographed by Herve, though they didn’t have too hard a job as Emma and Danny are a good-looking couple!
We also have to mention the incredible singing waiters who kept the guests thoroughly entertained throughout the wedding breakfast. It’s the second time we’ve seen these guys perform – they really are the best!
We wish you both all the best
